I do not know about you, but I am running on fumes at this point. I do not have the exact number in my head. But I have tried a minimum of 20 demos each day since Steam Next Fest opened its doors five days ago. That makes it at least 100 demos from then to now. Yes, you read that right. I have tried more than 100 demos the last five days. And let me tell you, even though I ran into some bad games, I also found some good ones—some I even consider GOTY material. No, I have no intention of telling you which game or games it might be. You will have to wait until the end of the year to be served that information.
Time is of the essence
On the subject of serving, I am thinking about Steam Next Fest demos, not me serving you some fancy food at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants. Most demos in Steam Next Fest are time-limited. That means they are only available during the event, which, if you do not know, ends on February 13, 2023. So make sure to try a demo as soon as possible should you find something in the list that seems interesting.
Before I let you roam free and pick this week’s list apart. Instead of me doing the usual and giving you a list with five games, I am going to give you a list with 10 games. It is the least I can and should do given how many demos I have tried this week. Yes, I know a bigger list will make it harder on you seeing how time-sensitive this situation is. But lets be honest. It is probably far more preferable to have a list with ten games rather then a hundred, right?
With that said. Let’s take a look at this week’s Steam Next Fest highlights!

I have done my part
Am I wrong to assume there was at least one game in this list you thought were interesting? If I am, you have me stumped. I mean, there are some quality games in this list, after all. Remember how I said that one or several games on the list are GOTY material? Yes, I am extremely hopeful for 2023. At least when it comes to games. Everything else, not so much. Maybe it is my lack of sleep speaking. It would not surprise me as I have been getting 4 hours of sleep each night for the last five days. So I most definitely have some catch up to do.
With that said. I am going to bed. Wish me luck. You never know if I will wake up on time or at all. But if I do, I will make sure to have yet another list for you to peruse. Until then, take care, and be sure to enjoy the little time that is left on the demos!
