Castle Of Alchemists and four more games

I got a promotion! Yes, it seems like Yuri have had enough of going over my well worded work and thought it would be easier if I manage it all by myself instead. While that is true, it also makes it easier for me to be more frivolous with my wording than ever before. I mean, Yuri gave up the reins and we all know I do not care enough to gatekeep myself. So we have to put our faith in you, the reader, to hold me accountable if you think I take things to far.

On the subject of taking things to far. I may have hoodwinked my friends in The Outlast Trials and joined the alien moshpit in Starship Troopers: Extermination this week. But I also gave The Wailer by Ethan Robichaux a try. Now, if my performance in that game is anything to go by, make sure not to get locked inside a dungeon with me. A blind drunkard trying to navigate Google Maps while being offline would be of more help than me.

Now, I might be horrible at finding ways out of a dungeon. But I still know how to find games. Take Motvind Studios, the developer behind the free to play game HOW WE KNOW WE’RE ALIVE, as an example. They announced a new game last week called Beyond The Plastic Wall. Yes, I said last week. See, I thought this news would be a better fit for this weeks theme. So I just decided to stay silent for a week. But something I wont be as silent about is the hightlights of week 20. So without further ado, here they are!

The lackluster end

I get it, you expected there to be an exciting end to this list, right? You are not alone. We all did. But here is the thing. My schedule has been filled to the brim this week. So I have had no time to spare on additional gameplay excursions or fancy menu screenshots to prove it. But I am sure you planned your week better than me and have had plenty of time to enjoy some games, right? So tell me, what have you been playing this week and what did you like or dislike about the game?

Yes, I know, asking about what you have played this week is like asking about the weather, which is sadder than a bowl of noodles in a student dormitory. At least I gave you a banger list to make up for it. And you can find some solace in the fact that next week will have a far more exciting end. I mean, one of the games that are said to release next week has seen over 800 wishlists per day for quite some time now. So yeah, it will be interesting to see if the game can live up to people’s expectations. But more about that next week.

Take care, and remember to enjoy the world outside!
